My Digital Artefact is an Instagram page (@rugratbrain) of short videos and images overlaid with my poetry, with a focus on feminism and women’s issues. The vintage/retro style of content I produce will attract more creative people that also enjoy that aesthetic while the focus on feminist messages will engage like-minded women. By appealing to both these audiences, I can spread information and understanding of feminist issues to more people through an easily digestible creative lens. So far, I’m really enjoying the process of creating my art and ideas with a public audience, and I’m excited to a have a space for my own creative expression while also sharing an important issue I feel passionately about.
